Excellent property. Friendly & professional staff who defaulted to speaking English. Clean, modern rooms with high quality fixtures & fittings (inc usb charging points). Plenty of plug sockets and mirrors with decent lighting. Comfortable bed with plenty of pillows. Free mini-bar, toiletries and slippers. Always good to have a decent hairdryer too. Hotel is in a prime location to access all the Lisbon has to offer. It's communal areas are classy, offering free bottled water and fruit to guests. Nice bar/lounge and restaurant. Only down side we found was that this was the most compact room we have ever stayed in. Literally tripping over one another and no space to put toiletry bags / makeup etc Also, there were only 4 coat hangers (not a deal breaker and we didn't request more) and there was no iron/ironing board. Overall, I'd recommend this hotel for a city break as you're barely in the room but when you are, it's comfortable and has everything you need. Plis the staff are professional and helpful.

We absolutely loved our stay at this beautiful boutique hotel in the heart of Lisbon's historic old town. The location was ideal—just steps away from charming streets, great restaurants, and iconic sights. From the moment we arrived, the service was outstanding. We were pleasantly surprised to be upgraded to a lovely room, where a chilled bottle of bubbly was waiting for us—a thoughtful and memorable touch. The room itself was impeccably appointed: stylish, comfortable, and tastefully decorated with attention to every detail. It struck the perfect balance between modern comfort and historic charm. Hotel da Baixa was a beautiful stay for us in Lisbon. The staff was communicative and friendly before and during our stay. Pedro, the owner/manager offered a free walking tour of the Baixa neighborhood, full of information, and a glass of wine at the end. Our room was upgraded upon checkin and was clean and spacious; the included daily breakfast offered an omelet station, fresh fruit, and plenty of meats, cheeses, and breads. The location is walkable to the historic sites and shopping. We were able to walk to the dock to catch our cruise. Highly recommend!
