I like that the hotel wasn't too far away from the middle of the city. A lot of the places were in walking distance and there were coffee shops and restaurants within 30 seconds of the property. All of the staff were great and very friendly. I didn't dine in or have breakfast but I don't think anyone did because I never saw the restaurant with any patrons. The only issue I had was the smell in the hallways. It was some sort of sewage smell and you can actually smell it sometimes in the bathroom in the shower area. Other than that to stay was great!

I thought the hotel was fine, I didn't think it was a 4 or 5 star hotel however. I thought the elevators were incredibly small, there are no hooks in the bathroom to put towels and other things, the room was decent but small. Overall I rate it average.

Cute hotel, parking was interesting underground on an elevator tight spot recommend small car. The coffee place & the restaurant across the street was amazing. Will come back for sure without a car as Uber is cheap in the area.

Good choice hotel to be away from the crowds

My wife and I stayed at Eurostars Das Letras for a 4 night break to Lisbon. We selected the hotel because it is located a little way outside the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area. It is on a steep hill but so is everything else in Lisbon. There was some building work opposite which did cause some noise but only in the day and didn’t cause any disruption. The staff are very professional and helpful and our room was a good size and clean. It’s also worth noting that the Koppu Ramen Izakaya restaurant opposite the hotel is fantastic and definitely worth a visit. Overall we were very pleased with our stay and would recommend this hotel

Room was quiet and comfortable with good amenities. Washcloths are provided, which is unusual for Europe. Hot water in the shower was good enough at the maximum setting, but could have been a little hotter. Breakfast was excellent with a good selection of items. Mobility-impaired people should be aware that the walk from the nearby Metro station is short but fairly steep.
