The caravan itself was ok for somewhere to get our heads down (visiting family close by) but I’d have been gutted to stay here as a holiday. The caravan absolutely reeked of dog and there were questionable stains everywhere. It’s clear it had not even been hoovered or properly cleaned as there was a blanket of dog hair over the carpets. Various little mud splats up the walls like a wet dog had shaken off after a walk. Long blonde hairs tangled in the curtains. A frozen bottle of milk randomly in the freezer. Full and overflowing cup of cigarette butts outside the door and other rubbish. A few hairs in the beds. Mould in shower. Various other minor things.
The facilities for cooking were fine. Location nice and quiet.
The park itself is great and we’ve stayed at Tattershall lakes before in a wood cabin (different company). Would not stay with this particular company again as the cleanliness and standards are obviously not up to scratch.
Nice, clean accommodation. Stayed here to explore surrounding areas. Great to see Jet fighters on their practice days. Lovely and calm with walks around the Lakes. Highly recommend.
Lovely caravan park, lots of activities day and night. Great location for trips around the area. Caravan was very clean and comfortable, take your own towels as non forguests, can rent them 2 for £6 from reception. Loved watching planes at raf base few minutes away.

Upon opening the doors of this property u are welcomed with what smells to be a dogs den.
The stench of wet and dirty dog lingers through all the furniture and especially the bedding. Regardless This property was dirty and uncleaned. Bin was full of previous people’s rubbish! No towels provided floor was dirty my partner had a nail sticking through his slipper. Visited guest services and was told it would be solved they did come spray air freshener but obviously the smell did not go. Had my sister as part of the trip travel 4 hours to be apart of it she previously has a bad chest and she was unable to stay the night due to her being unable to breathe.
The property and facilities are beautiful it’s a shame about the hygiene and cleanliness. Also a shame wasnt moved into another accommodation or my complaint even really been acknowledge. Spoilt the stay as my sister was unable to due to the smell being so bad.
Second rate caravan.
No towels, we were told because of the price we paid we don't get towels.
Very tired look to the interior and the shower and toilet area!!! Smelled of cigarette.
Our family stay was really good the place was lovely the only 2 faults i found was my partner went fishing a couple of times the first time he paid but didnt get a peg because the ones that were left were very weedy and it snapped his line and also there was alot of rubbish around the bit he fished that other people had left which he picked up and the only other thing i felt the staff could of been abit more friendly but overall a loving place to stay
The park itself is amazing, loads of facilities and activities ( although expensive, high ropes £24 each) a slush was £5.95. But it’s a really nice site. The caravan we was given was basic, right behind the entertainment tent so very noisy and all crammed in. It wasn’t very clean. Check in was delayed as caravan hadn’t been cleaned. I would book privately if I went again and not through away resorts
Had to book all of the activities weeks in advance. Who wants to plan their activities 6 weeks in advance when you don’t know what the weather will be like or what you’ll want to do, so ended iit missing out on a lot, found that the app and website weren’t really helpful with booking, we booked to eat and apparently booked the wrong restaurant and then Was charged for a no show, ( we sat downstairs instead of upstairs), no bedding for the 4th couple in the van, swimming pool was filthy, entertainment was good, but found the some of the staff rude

The site was nice but i found all the facilitys expensive. I expect to pay more on these sites but thought the shop etc was pure greed.

Everything was good aprt from check in property was not ready on time and staff give us wrong directions and lil bit struggling to find out the property.
Tattershall was a massive holiday park and the south of the park is about a 30 min walk to the north with the facilities. The pools need booking 2 week in advance. The payable activities are quite expensive.
But it was lovely if you know what you are getting and don’t mind the distances if you get a place far away.
The description of accomodation was for a superior caravan, which in my understanding should have had towels, iron and hair dryer. It had the bare minimum! Goodness knows what the basic one was like!! There were managers standing around most of the time doing nothing. There were no indication sheet to say where each activity was happening. Poor online information. Very expensive, especially drinks @ £5.70 a pint, plus £1 plastic pint container charge. Our wait for food was 50 minutes. We made the most of our time and enjoyed the activities.
