The room was big and roomy with a couch in it. Beds were comfy and the hotel was close to Haymarket and the university.

Upon check-in, the desk clerk was friendly and visible. In the morning, however, breakfast was not what I expected for the charge since it was pretty much the same thing I could get at the Holiday Inn for free, and it ended at 930? People expect breakfast to go until at least 10- 1030 am. I did not receive an express check-out and the desk clerk was absent due to a restroom / break time. There should always be at least 2 people at the desk to accommodate those that are checking in and out. This is not what I expected from a Hyatt, but I guess it is a lesser version since it is a "Place." For the price, I will always return to the Holiday Inn.

Thought i was booking a traditional Hyatt but this was a cheaper version of that. Great locations and the staff was wonderful. My only complaint was the rooms are not serviced daily and the lack luster decor in the rooms.

Great stop on the road. Super clean. Did not realize it’s a college town so lots of things open late. Could be a plus or minus for you. We just needed to sleep and we had a quiet night despite the town being busy at night.
