The Graduate is great

This was the second time I’ve stayed here on a roadtrip, I totally love it. It’s funky and fun with terrific service staff and a comfortable room with character. It’s also close to the Haymarket and all its terrific restaurants and ice cream and breweries to choose from after a long day’s drive!

We had a great experience. The hotel has a fun atmosphere with the throwback Johnny Carson theme and the rooms have quirky fun decor. Loved the maps and memorabilia sprinkled throughout the building. It is showing it's age a little but still clean and functional. Perfect for attending our daughter's graduation at UNL at Pinnacle Bank Arena. Tons of shops and restaurants within walking distance. Street parking and garage parking available.

Arrived to check in and they lost my full reservation. The young lady who checked us in was scrambling to change it and when she did I lost complimentary breakfast that paid for. The hotel only booked 1 room when I paid for two. Cracks in sheet rock. Our air conditioner made a loud scratching noise all night. Overall the hotel was decent but not worth the money. Staff I encountered was not up to standard and argumentative.

Loved the convenience of this property. The location was in the heart of the Haymarket making our event at the Pinnacle, restaurants and bars were all within walking distance. Also…. I cannot say enough good about the restaurant connected to this hotel - Singel Barrel. The food was amazing, the staff was attentive and the atmosphere was perfect for our party of 20.

The retro, Nebraska decor is awesome! The fact that we have to pay $23 to park in the garage may deter me from staying there again. I believe complimentary parking should be provided for guests.
