Check in was quick. Bed was comfortable and room was quiet. Food at the restaurant was tasty. The food offering was very limited and was mostly finger foods. The bar was poorly stocked. The service was incredibly slow with priority given to table set up and other non customer facing activities. We purchased the only red wine they had (at gouging prices) and had to ask repeatedly for our wine. When the wine came it was already poured in glasses and had to ask 3 more times for the bottle to return to our table. The bottle was not opened in front of us and should never have left our sight; the cork was pushed into the bottle making pouring messy. Serving staff are in desperate need of server training and customer service skills. Breakfast was included with the room however since we were leaving early we asked for take away breakfast. They wanted to charge us $5 USD each. Beware that you must also order your breakfast before 9pm and once placed it cannot be cancelled. We opted to have daily breakfast and other meals at nearby restaurants to avoid the poor service preferring to pay rather than take what was "free". There are several more examples of policies that are self serving at this property; 6 pairs of underwear and socks were sent out for cleaning and the invoice was a little over $60 USD. Poor service, gouging and general unfriendliness of the staff make this property impossible to recommend. Never again for us.
