I got this hotel because it was next to the train station. I was supposed to have a room that was higher than the standard room. It was anything but a 4 star hotel. The room was really tired with marks on walls and carpets, cheap furniture, and faulty appliances. There were also stains on the sheet and the toilet did work properly so the amount of water used every time it was flushed was enormous and it was making noises for several minutes. I do not know how they got the sustainability certification! The walls have no insulation either. This is a 2 star hotel pretending to be a 4 star one. I did not expect such low quality from Novotel. Very disappointing.

Wonderful stay. The room was lovely, spacious and comfortable. Staff were very friendly and accommodating. Location was perfectly walkable to city centre and right beside the station.

I loved the proximity to the Lille Europe Train Station, metro and bus stops. Easy access to Westfield Euralile and many dining options in the town center. Took me an easy 5 minute walk to the mall and an additional 5 minute to the Center. Many restaurants, supermarkets, shops, Bureau du Change…loved the staff’s attention to the guests, and housekeeping did a great job with the room; it was spotless. Great amenities too (Rituals Products, a Nespresso machine and Kusmi Tea). Will definitely stay again!

Lovely Hotel close to Lille Europe train station

Lovely hotel, so close to Lille Europe train station. Excellent facilities I liked the layout of the bathroom, complete with bath and separate shower and separate toilet. Tea kettle and coffee machine, very comfy bed and the pillows are brilliant, not like french pillows at all ! Microwave in the room and there are some ready meals in the reception area that looked good. Great staff, all very friendly and they love to say bonjour. Thank you for a comfortable stay, hope to be back soon.

Very handy stay for the Eurostar

Really excellent location for the Eurostar. Hotel has everyone one needs for an overnight stay - apart from a restaurant and not much nearby. Did the job for us and staff were good.

We have just stayed here, first weekend in November. It is a very modern and clean hotel, with very helpful, efficient and friendly staff. Our room was well sound-proofed, had separate toilet and bathroom with shower cubicle and a bath, comfortable beds, tea/coffee making facilities, fridge and a microwave. We also had the breakfast which is €18.50 per adult, kids eat free. This made it a very affordable price for a family. They were also very happy to provide our daughter with some gluten free bread which we were so grateful for as we found it difficult to find gluten free places in Lille. Amazing place and wouldn't hesitate to return!

Great room, not so warm welcome

Wonderful room but the receptionist seemed a bit off/it did not feel like a warm welcome. I did not fully understand the room deposit and when asking for clarity about which card to use to do this she seemed quite irritated. The room was clean and beds were very comfy. Also air con was great and appreciated the fridge.

This is a great place to stay while in Lille whether you’re heading out on the Eurostar for England, or just visiting Lille. The station is an easy walk into Lille, a very nice University town. There’s even a shopping mall attached to the adjacent train station.
