Owner Phillip and his Manager Chris were very accommodating , always available. Breakfast was great, music provided on certain evenings were amazing. Kauai Inn is a quiet hideaway with easy access to the beaches and restaurants in Lihue. Its a great central location between driving to the east/north side of island and west side of island. Pool and spacious grounds were awesome.

We had such a super amazing time at the Kauai Inn! The slight detour do to an uncrossable bridge added to the adventure and the sights we might not have seen otherwise. Chris and his team were so friendly and welcoming! We arrived to live music on the patio. The breakfast buffet and 24-hour coffee was perfection. We so enjoyed the pool. They even brought out floats for us to use. The rooms are spacious and comfy. And the bath towels were amazing! We would definitely stay here again!

Hidden Gem in Kauai!

What a surprise this hotel was! Everyone here was so nice, and you can tell that the workers were happy to be here. Beautiful views and wonderful amenities! The beds and pillows themselves would warrant a 5 star review! This was the best hotel my family has stayed at in long time and we will definitely stay here next time we are in Kauai!

We loved staying at this family owned Inn. Very enjoyable stay with nice quiet surroundings and pool, and a beautiful view of the mountains. The owner was so helpful, such as providing travel tips and transportation options. Philip is truly a good person. Also we were lucky enough to stay there on a Monday when they had live music with two very talented musicians/singers. Such a pleasant evening. I highly recommend the Kauai Inn and if we make it back to Kauai we will definitely stay there again!

If you want peace and quiet and a relaxing atmosphere, this is a great place for that. If you’re looking for a resort with first class amenities, then I suggest you keep looking. Nevertheless, this place was well worth the couple of days here.

The owners were so helpful to provide some added travel suggestions for activities, beaches and dining options. The rooms were clean and comfortable. We loved the atmosphere of the Kauai Inn. Was a diamond in the rough find for us.

Bridge out, nice views, free breakfast

Lovely property! The bridge to get here is closed indefinitely, so you have to drive around, but it was still lovely! There are peacocks and chickens. They let us use chairs and floaties to go to the beach. Breakfast was ok: good fruit, great muffins, yogurt/cereal. not hot choice, but it was FREE!

Great service at Kauai Inn

The team at Kauai Inn was very accommodating, which I appreciated. I had to hang out for a few hours on the grounds between getting picked up, and later going to the airport, and they were wonderful about me staying on the grounds, using the pool, etc. The room was very comfortable. I would recommend having a car if you stay here, as there's not a lot within easy walking distance.

The property is in a odd location. Pretty area but out on its own. Only stayed one night so it worked as a place to stay but the property is not in good repair, Our bathroom did not flush well and the hot water was not very good, behind our room was a smallhouse next to the property that were intoxicated and yelling at each other for about an hour in the middle of the night. Check in lady was friendly. Wouldn't stay there again, there are so many other hotel choices with nice water views to choose.

Anniversary stay..

We stayed here during our trip to Kauai. It’s an older hotel but loved the setting. The breakfast was a nice bonus along w the birds. Owner was always there tending to the property. Pool was clean. We loved the ability to borrow items to use at the beach. We would stay here again. Music was by the pool a few evenings: )

What a lovely place to stay. Off of the beaten path but does not have the feel of a commercial resort. It is well maintained. The owner is quite friendly. The breakfast is wonderful each morning. Enjoy the peacocks that strut around the property.

We really liked it here. The breakfast was great! Beds are comfortable and we literally were gone exploring all day so just what we needed. Why spend money on a condo when we are only there to rest until the next day! We appreciated all the beach equipment!
