Dirty, the shower didn’t work, couldn’t close windows. Sketch parking and not great buffet breakfast but at least it was something. The staff at check in were very nice.

All of the staff members were so nice! The rooms are very basic, but the AC worked great and everything was clean. It's an old hotel, but in that area, most everything is, so this is one of the better hotels. The grounds are lovely and the pool was amazing! The food is good and the front desk staff helped organize transportation to and from the airport and other areas when doing excursions. The hotel is only about 20 minutes from the airport. I would stay here again. :)

A pretty basic hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. It included a safe but no other amenities—no coffee maker, no mini fridge, no microwave, no iron, etc. The hotel grounds and pool area were lovely though. The location is convenient with easy freeway access and within walking distance to the town center, but was otherwise unspectacular.

I have always stayed at El Sitio when in Liberia, but decided to try Boyeros because of the price. It was about 30-50 bucks less, but I would say not worth it. I would stay at El Sitio above this hotel probably every time. All of the staff were nice and the pool was great! But, I felt like I paid quite a bit for a true Costa Rican living experience: cold showers, tiny rooms pack with furniture, so-so tico breakfast.

Perfect spot for an overnight transition from the airport to begin our travels. The courtyard and pool are pretty and well maintained, and the rooms are comfortable. Plus, the food at the restaurant was delicious!
