Spent 3 nights here for a get-away and was most impressed. Spacious, clean, well appointed room, two sinks, plenty of mirrors, fridge has a little freezer, lamps have plug-ins for phones, and very quiet, etc., and the staff was very accommodating. The bed was very nice, nice linens, all around a great place to stay. And the balcony with mountain views was very nice!

We have stayed here for many parent weekends at a nearby school, and always found it to be fine. This time, I booked on Hotels.com for a price of $366 total after taxes and fees, ($159 a night for 2 nights with 3 people). When I checked out, by bill was $564. I thought the bill seemed high, so when I got in the car, I opened up my reservation to find that indeed, my email from Hotels.com said $159 a night. I went back in to get the right receipt and make sure I was not overpaying. The person at the desk said he would pass it to the manager. I shared that this has happened in the past and I was never able to resolve it, so I was hesitant to leave until resolved. He said he could not do anything, and gave me his name and number to call that night--that it would be resolved. I called and was told he gave the information to the manager and it would be settled. I asked for a call back from the manager, but shocking...no call and it still has not been settled. I would let a few dollars go, but this is literally a $200 difference. I would think that Hotels.com would want to settle it or the hotel would. They have lost my business, and I would warn you to ask for the receipt before you step foot into your room. Or find a better hotel.

The staff was courteous and helpful.The property is old, the rooms are large and have been refurbished but the sinks and tubs have not been updated. We did not use the shower because of it's poor appearance. The beds on the other hand were comfortable which was all we really needed.

For a last minute cheap hotel it wasn’t that bad, The first night there my wife and I saw a Stink bug in the room killed it and didn’t think anything of it but the next morning we found about 10 more in the room we notified the front desk manager and switched us to a different room the manager said the bugs come out this time of year and that they were harmless and we’d be fine but still no one wants that many in a room, The caulking around the bathroom sinks and bathtub were starting to peel off, Beds we’re comfortable but I’d recommend bringing your own pillows. Iron didn’t work and the Ironing board probably hasn’t been cleaned in a few months

This was the perfect spot. Only about a 10 minute drive to get to downtown. Quiet and safe. Will definitely stay here again
