The fitness room was so outdated Machines not working correctly No sanitizer or towels to wipe equipment down Rug so worn someone is going to trip on it and really hurt themselves Not clean at all Did not like using unisex restroom by the fitness room

It is like a ghost town! Very empty and many unused spaces. If you have not seen the Hotel Impossible episode about this hotel, I highly suggest you do before booking. I was not aware until after the fact. Nothing has changed in the 10 years since the episode was filmed. We only encountered 2 staff during our 3 night stay. Both were extremely friendly. I never saw evidence of a housekeeping staff. If I ever find myself in Frankfort again I will seek accommodation elsewhere. Positives: very friendly staff at the front desk, convenient location for visiting sites downtown, low nightly rate, free parking, breakfast included (did not try). Negatives: no housekeeping service despite a 3 day stay, very dated decor, VERY firm beds, tiny travel size pillows, only surface level clean and had many areas of neglect in the room and in the hotel common areas.
