I'm never sure how to rate a hotel. This was a super nice hotel, and for us it was 5 stars, but it's not the Paris Ritz. We couldn't have been more pleased with our room. Lots of space, clean, wonderful bathroom with a big shower. We loved the Chalon restaurant, excellent food and service. The big indoor pool was a great place to relax. All the staff were more than friendly and helpful. Flip side, they were switching out their WiFi equipment and there were a number of inopportune outages, like when I was ready to check in for my return flight. The faucet in the bathroom sink was loose. The ironing board was broken. It's tricky to get there if you're coming from the south on Adolfo López Mateos Boulevard. U-turns are tricky and traffic can be crazy during the day. And there's not much to see or do in the immediate area. Aside from that, we still give it 5 stars and would definitely stay there again.
