Though the hotel was very accessible to downtown Mt. Dora, we found that there were areas that had water pooling on the walkways, dirt and some trash. We've stayed at many Quality Inns and found this one to need some upkeep.

The rooms were very clean. We were disappointed that we ended up on the second floor with no elevator. As we are in our 70's it was difficult to go up and down the stairs.

The hotel is about a 10 minutes drive from downtown, but it was a whole different world. It seems like this hotel may be a temporary home for people who need housing assistance. The parking lot did not feel safe. Some people sitting in cars, others walking back and forth on walkway. Breakfast was very messy and poorly stocked. No spoons, one yogurt, a small amt of cereal, etc.

Price was a little high for the property. Had a king bed, but 4 very small pillows and bad stain on the carpet. Despite this, very quiet and close to downtown Mt. Dora.

This is a great but older hotel right on the lake in Mt Dora. We loved that the room was actually split into 2 rooms with a hallway and sink in the middle. The front part is like a living room and the back is the bedroom. The bedroom had a door that opened to a small patio facing the lake. I wish we would have had more time to enjoy it. It was just a stopover before a 9AM wedding.

The location was amazing but they only had a "smoking room" when we got there. We had no room service every day and had to go beg for tp and clean towels. Breakfast was sub-par. location was wonderful. Staff wasn't friendly. Our room smelled like smoke!!!

They canceled my reservation and charged my card 49.99 for a cancellation fee and I did not cancel my room at all. I had to wait until they found me another room that was accessible. Closet doors were tore down in room. No mirror above sink in bathroom, I can see it used to be one there. I had to go find room service for towels and service cause no one came by.

Worst stay this year
We are handicapped and requested 1 floor, instead we had second floor with no parking. We had ri walk past the pool and ti the back stairs. I told the front desk and they said if we don’t like it to leave and they’ll see about refunding our money. They blame hotels for not notifying them. The tub doesn’t drain, the water pressure was terrible.

This is the worst motel in history. AVOID!! you will regret it. If you have an emergency, they will charge you for the whole week, even if you stay for one day, they will keep the money even if they tell you they will refund you. DONT TRUST THEM.

The room did not smell good at all. My socks were black on the bottom from the carpet. My room did not have a fire alarm. The front desk people were very helpful and friendly. It was very convenient being a seller at the antique show. The outside was kept nice.
