The lake view was the best part. Bed was very comfortable as was stated in other reviews. We had no issues with noise. The property was not the most modern but I wasn’t looking for modern, I came from NYC for a “country” getaway. We loved the balcony and the breakfast.

We enjoyed several things about our stay at the Black Swan Inn. The onsite Indian cuisine restaurant Mint was delicious and the smell of the spices through the property was lovely. We had a great time taking the kayaks out on Lake Laurel. The view was beautiful. The location was perfect for our trip. We were not familiar with the area and this was a great launching spot for our day trips. It was a really nice stay.

The Best Deal for the Area
The Black Swan was the best deal for the area, though I still found it on the expensive side. The rooms are clean and the porch is a plus. The view of the pond was also nice. The hotel itself could use a bit of an update. It does have wifi but it’s not a very strong signal and we had no Verizon Cell Service. The Indian restaurant attached to the Hotel was an awesome surprise to the point that we went there twice.

Great place to stay!
This is our go-to place to stay when we go skiing in Mass. It is clean, the staff is always accommodating and we love the Indian Restaurant! Breakfast is good and coffee, tea and hot chocolate at all hours is great too! Definitely recommend!

Dull decor-rust and brown! Worn out dark wood furniture. Thin ceilings- footsteps from floor above were noisy. No hot water one morning (told something needed to be reset). Mediocre breakfast offerings. Noisy air conditioning unit.

A Splendid Stay!
My friend & I enjoyed two days here & loved the setting overlooking the lake where we were able to relax. We slept well because the inn is quiet & the beds are comfortable. The room was clean. The location is excellent for activities in Lenox. We enjoyed a delicious dinner of Indian food at the on site restaurant with a view of the lake. I’ll be back to stay here, for sure!
