everything was very good BUT the heating in out room stopped working late at night and he realized it in the morning. We made a complaint and the maintenance man went into our room to adjust. It was still the same. The maintenance guy wanted us to wait another 30 mins before changing rooms, then he explained it was because of the water n our room was facing towards it... We just wanted to change rooms and he talked to us for 20 mins trying to explain. Other than the maintenance man everything else was excellent.

The breakfast was actually better than expected. Staff was attentive to questions at check in and at check out and there were no issues when I asked for a late check out. Grocery store and restaurant were both walking distance away. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quick stay in the area.

Best hotel in Lawrence

The Holiday Inn Express in Lawrence is by far the best hotel experience we have had in the Greater Lawrence area. Excellent service, comfort, and cleanliness conveniently located.
