It was a rather expensive medium level motel. The beds were comfy, the staff was accommodating, though reluctant at first. They watched our bags for us when we went to church and we appreciated that.

Staff was very friendly. Room felt damp and a bit musty, maybe because our room was right on the canal. Room was a little worn, but it was clean and comfortable. Fine for an overnight stay to catch a flight ght out of JFK.

No compassion
I booked this hotel because my elderly father was getting weak. Minutes after it was clear he needed to go to the hospital versus just have a rest. I tried to call the hotel multiple times within minutes of booking to cancel and get a refund and did not get an answer. I chatted with Hotels.com to hopefully get a refund or at least partial and the hotel was not willing to do that. I am still working with them in hopes they will refund and show some empathy and compassion. If they do, I will be more than happy to update this review. Otherwise, I will be working with my card company to deny the charge

We got this hotel after our flight was canceled. It’s an ok hotel. Beds are small and the hotel had a weird vibe and feeling to it. Good variety for breakfast. They kept only giving me 2 towels but we booked for 4. Little details that matter, including not being able to get into my room because our keys were not working and that was day 1.

The photos make it look like a nice enough hotel close to the airport. The price was crazy for what it was, but availability was low. The hotel is very run down. The room had been cleaned, but felt dirty. Stained rug, mildew smell, the kind of place you triple check for bed bugs. Luxury hotel price, run down motel feel. Would not stay again.
