An OK hotel if you are looking for budget accommodations. New AC units have been installed with some attempts to upgrade the mechanical systems but the facility as a whole is very old and will need major renovations to bring it into place where higher rates are warranted.

The linen was clean. But the laundry room was sticky and messy. The room had peeling paint. The beds rolled away when you went to sit on them. The glassware was stuck to bench. The seal in the fridge was dirty.

It was a bit pricey for what we got. Room was outdated with a few small minor upgrades. Kitchenette was not well stocked, e.g. no pots, pans, dishsoap, dish clothes or dish towels. We were lucky to have all our camping cooking gear in the car with us. Spacious though, and beds were comfortable.

Though the price was reasonable the property and our room had no air-conditioning and it was 32C..Initially the TV did not work but the manager did replaced it promptly when alerted to promlem.We have stayed here many times over the past 20 odd years and nothing much as changed over that time.

This was our base for 10 days. We chose it as it was very cheap for a 2 bedroom apartment for our young family & we were mainly only there late afternoons/evenings. The village is an older style village. Some rooms have been renovated with air-conditioning others not and only have a pedstral fan/none. Laundry is $4 and coin operated only. The children did swim in the heated pool. We were upgraded to a renovated room at no extra cost which looked into the valley & had air con after our 1st night. The Staff are very accommodating & if you need anything for your room please dont hesitate to ask them. They will try their best to provide items. Clothes hoist, vacuum, broom are not standard items. We had the best time in Tassie.

Location was great as it was very close to Launceston town centre. The accommodation is way over priced. Our bathroom smelt like sewerage and the shower water didnt drain. The lounge couch was terribly worn and extremely uncomfortable. The 2 chairs were covered in stains. This hotel needs demolishing or a radical renovation. Would not recommend.

The room was old. Old can be great, but this room had a dirty floor, curtains in poor condition and off the track. The shower floor was rough and hard to stand on. The TV remote kept losing the battery cover every time you picked it up - small thing but very annoying. The sheets must have been bleached or something as we itched all night. There were only two pillows. No towels in the room - I had to go and ask and was told they were being washed and dried, eventually they were delivered. Very limited utensils - one glass, one cup i knife, 1 fork 1 bowl (no spoon) and when I went back to ask for more reception closed and I was not able to raise anyone even though it was only late afternoon. Probably a good idea to find somewhere else to stay, although this was just out experience. We couldn't get out of there quick enough.
