This was a convenient stopover for 2 nights. There was a mix up in the recommended restaurant and our meals were very late coming out. I thought an offer of a free drink would have been nice in these circumstances.

The room was clean and tidy, and needed an update. But, the worst part was they were not well insulated to avoid noise. Other patrons staying thought yelling til 3.30am in the morning was acceptable, having little consideration for others. Opted for early check out.

The nearby restaurant Three steps on George was unwelcoming and the staff member was rude. The hotel was ok but nothing special for $170 for one adult for one night. Try somewhere else.

Basic accommodation which is fine for a night or 2 if you're in Launceston for work. The entire place is a bit dated and could use some sprucing up, breakfast is average at best and the rooms and hallways are not very clean. Great central location with plenty of off-street parking, not the best but far from the worst.
