Comfortable base to explore Launceston

Comfortable but unremarkable large hotel. Our room was fine; beds comfortable, heating/cooling effective, bathroom good except for annoying shower curtain. We had a disappointing view of a tin roof despite booking months in advance. Location is great for exploring Launceston, being an easy walk to the centre of town and lovely gardens.

Property is well located. Close to restaurant and shopping centre. Room were quite spacious but look old. Unfortunately we had one fly and mosquitoes in the room. We didn't report it to the reception though. There were webs outside windows and should be cleaned.

Lovely and friendly staff members , breakfast and the diner was nice as well. Although the bathroom was renovated and clean the room especially the carpets being so old and dusty wasn’t nice. It needs renovations

The staff is very polite and efficient. The rooms are good-sized, equipped with all amenities, housekeeping is efficient. The hotel is in a happening zone, two minute walk from the lively city park, library and cafes. Parking is stress free!
