Cheap but rundown, no hot water, no housekeeping
We stayed five nights and did not have a good experience. Our first room had a persistent high-pitched ringing noise and the hotel was good about moving us to a new room quickly. It went downhill from there. The hotel had no hot water for the first 36 hours of our stay--we were not informed but when I finally went down to the front desk they took off one night's resort fee ($16). We received no housekeeping at all during our stay. Trash was overflowing and we had only two towels which we had to keep reusing. There were holes in the duvet covers and the carpet was not very clean. Internet service was poor. Overall this was not a good experience and we will not stay here again.

S are like a giant ball of cotton very uncomfortable room was a little dirty They did not tell me when I checked in.I had no hot water in the whole hotel for 2 days pool was closed and Jacuzzi and the heater did not work the room was freezing the whole time

Needs some serious updating.
The room portion of the Tropicana I stayed in is VERY dated. While the room appeared fairly clean, the carpet seemed grungy and the carpets were frayed. The doors needed painting and the desk chair was in really rough shape. The vinyl was shredded. I didn’t receive any soap in my bathroom so I had to wash my hands with shampoo and also shower with the shampoo.
