The property manager was absolutely amazing!!!! He greeted us at the door and showed us around and made sure we felt comfortable and right at home!!! The place was clean and the breakfast was superb. Would give 6 stars if possible!!!

The property was relatively nice on the outside and beautiful on the inside. The host (Alli) made the stay. He was awesome and full of information. They have a small geothermal pool / tub on property you can use free of charge. Very nice!

Our host was friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet was impressive and everything was delicious. Though the 4 rooms available don’t have a private bathroom, the common toilets and shower were very clean. And it was very nice to have a sink in the bedroom. Thank you for making our stay most enjoyable!

The guesthouse was located in a mountain-fringed valley, the setting adding to the overall charm snd warmth of the stay. The room was very clean and comfortable, as was the shared sitting / dining area. Of note was the delicious breakfast and charming hosts. This was a gem.

This is a VERY CLEAN guest house that boasts a kitchen, living room area, and a HOT TUB! It is a bit away from lake Mývatn, but worth the 20-30 minute drive. The owner is lovely and worked hard to make sure our room fit our needs. I would eat off the floor at this place - very clean. Hot tub was wonderful after exploring the area around the lake.

Winderful Stay

We had an amazing time in this gust house. The owner has done the place up really smart and sophisticated. The host is very friendly and provided great local tips and helped us see the Northern Lights! Which can be see from the lawn of the guesthouse which over looks a dark, light-free valley. We loved our stay.

Lovely place with charming owners

The owners are really charming and welcomed us warmly. It's a lovely place where you can hear the birds. The room was bright and spacious. And the breakfast was great with an homemade (delicious) cake !

This property was extremely clean. It was a little difficult to find..signage on the main road would be helpful as it is a little off the beaten track. Very quiet and comfortable with a most obliging host. Kitchen facilities would be a plus, and would really make this property more attractive. An enjoyable stay and good value for money.

Misunderstood bathroom arrangements. Was not expecting to share bathroom with all other guests. It colored my experience in that l was expecting privacy which l didn't get. Other than that it felt like a typical lcelandic experience. Propritors were nice and helpful. The breakfast was tasty and the clean country air was bracing. An "off the beaten path" accommodation.
