No coffee on hand in the lobby for free. No free breakfast Limited tv if you dont use your streaming app logins Small room (2 queen beds and small bathroom) TV remote ran out of battery and without apple charger you cannot recharge. $34 for 2 mixed drinks.

The rooms are in need of an upgrade, paint job and some tlc. You also should not advertise pictures of the exterior property with features you no longer have. I.e a pond and fire pits for guests use. We booked looking forward to this to only be left disappointed upon check in. Our room had a broken bathroom door and the sheets are very thin.

I booked the Retreat because it was my first time taking the little kids skiing and coming from Los Angeles, we wanted something nearby to Lee Canyon with the amount of stuff and time to take little kids ready. First impression lobby and restaurant look nostalgic/cute. I booked the King Suite, which was perfect for a family with kids and ton of stuff. Rooms are outdated but didn’t bother us, but it had dusty corners, slow shower likely from mineral deposits in the shower head and the sofa mattress had a stain. We did show the front desk lady quickly the sofa mattress stain and they replaced it quickly. We were tired with kids, didn’t make a big deal. Restaurant was great comfort food! Lobby bathrooms needed more attention and cleanliness.

Poor condition, lovely area

Pros: Secluded location Fireplace in the lobby Balcony option Cons: Rundown condition Expensive restaurant with near zero other options in the area No elevator Thin single blanket in the room As others have commented, the hotel is in need of a massive overhaul. It seems remodels had started but what was old and was ‘new’ a few years ago is unclear. If you’re aware of what you’re getting you can enjoy feeling away but it’s not great.

Cozy overall

Place is charming, but in need of an upgrade. The place does have a restaurant, but if you are looking to dine elsewhere that is about 18 miles away. Bring snack. Plan your trip accordingly, Lee Canyon is about a 30 minute drive.
