Our stay at South Point was great. We had a quiet room for one night on the 8th floor, with a king bed. The room was spotless, the bed was comfortable, the low light options around the room and the water pressure in the shower were awesome, and the ventilation system remained quiet and kept the climate in the room comfortable all night. The only things we didn't like were the intense cigarette smell in the casino and the looooooong walk from the parking garage, down to the casino floor, and then back up another set of elevators, on the other side of the casino. If you have mobility issues, I definitely recommend using the valet service, to help bring your bags inside. We had to take a couple trips back and forth to the car in the garage, which was annoying, but I definitely got my steps in for the day, lol. At least parking was free, which was a nice bonus, compared to other hotels in the area. Even with the 20K steps it took to navigate the property, the hotel was a good value, and we would absolutely stay again.

Check in was great room spacious & very clean. We were there for the Cutting Horse Mane Event XII & it was fun. We chose Michaels Gourmet Room for dinner & the food & service was exquisite, highly recommend it. Upscale restaurant that really knows how to treat it’s customers!
