Rooms were dated, old everything! Cut my toe on the bathtub due to sliding glass doors. Shower was ice cold the 2nd day. Elevators smelled disgusting and also pool closed at 9pm!! I’m in Vegas , open that up until midnight!!! Another problem was that we couldn’t bring a 12 pack to the pool area. We were allowed 1 per person, so we had to go all the way back up to the 20th floor anytime we wanted a drink. Stupid!! I’m payed 180$ in resort fees for that bs. Stay somewhere else.

We enjoyed the pool however it was very very cold! It was weird that the shower in the room has a window just covered by a picture frame. The beds were uncomfortable but I am just used to sleeping on a softer bed, we enjoyed our stay! Staff were all very pleasant and helped us find our room when we got lost because we didn't take note of our room number so we didn't know which tower we were in. The Rio is roughly a 20-30 minute walk to the Strip so it was easy to get around.

No free shuttle bus to and from the Strip, no room amenities such as coffee maker & microwave. We stayed for two nights, we only had 3 bath towels, we requested for extra towel the next day but didn’t get it. There was no housekeeping- our room was not cleaned/tidied up on the second day. All the nice things at Rio are all gone- the Masquerade Show in the Sky & the Carnival World Buffet and the free shuttle bus to the Strip are all gone. These are the only reasons we always stayed at Rio before. We only stayed at Rio to meet up with friends from UK who were also disappointed with their stay there.
