Basic Room

The room overall was basic with a fun ambiance, but no mini fridge, microwave or in-room coffee. The bathroom sink was in the room without any vanity space. Staff was not very friendly or helpful at checkin which consisted of getting room keys made (I did the online check in). We didn't realize there were multiple room towers and just happened by luck to park near the correct tower and find the correct elevator. Concierge was more helpful the next morning answering parking questions. Lots of food options.

It’s in a great location to several resorts either by walking or on the tram. However check in in poor (self or in the line) and no one is eager to help. Rooms are average- very small. We got a great deal on the room ($49per night) a good deal for what we paid.

We had a great experience at New York New York. We had a great room with an amazing view. It was crazy watching the roller coaster go by our room. The staff was very friendly and very helpful. The only problems that we had was that the tub drain was slow and the toilet flapper wouldn't always seat tight. Minor problems that they were happy to fix right away. I can't wait to stay there again.

I reserved a room with two beds and they said since I was only there for one day they had to move me to a single bed. I had three people with me. Then they said they would give me a rollaway bed free of charge and it was the size of a queen. It was not it was smaller than a twin.

Very convenient, clean and safe. Rooms were very spacious. Just the elevators seem old and slow. Checkin accommodated room change and we were able to check our luggage after checkout for free. Being from Canada and still thinking Vegas is “warm” even in January, it would be nice to have the pool area open just to sit outside and enjoy the sun. And better ventilation for the cigarette smoke in the casino area; you don’t smell it as much in nicer hotels like the Venitian and Mandalay. Nice to have the Starbucks downstairs. Great free tram across the street to get to the Mandalay. Breakfast at America restaurant was great, but they charge too much for a carafe of coffee!! One carafe between 3 people was $7 x 3 = $21! If only one person had drank all the coffee from the same carafe it would be $7?!?! That’s crazy.
