When I made my reservation through Expedia, I asked for a smoking room when I got there they told me it was an upgrade because they didn’t have one. Said my reservation was a non-smoking so I had to pay an additional fee not really pleased.

Loud music outside window until 2:00am. Room should never be rented! Also, a “resort fee” of $40 charged at check in. This makes this a very poor value. I was sucker by the lower price on Expedia! Never again!

I love staying on Fremont Street... The Golden Gate is a great place to stay and will not hesitate to stay there again in the future. The only issue I had was the shower water was not hot enough for my preference... :)

Horrible hotel

It was hot and maintenance said the AC didn’t work due to the season (weird). The bathroom amenities were missing. The front desk promised to bring a fan and we waited over 3hrs then called again to remind them we still needed it.

Do not book here if you want to sleep before 2am. I understand not everyone is there in Vegas to sleep. But even when you have to change your room becomaide it sounds like Bourbon street in Mardi Gras is happening in the hallway, and you ask for quiet, it is LOUD. And the colorful lights flashing through the curtains seem like an acid trip. And just be prepared for hallways that make you think you’ll get emphysema walking through them. And bedrooms so tiny and outdated you’ll be lucky if two people can charge a phone. And you likely won’t feel cleaner after a shower than before. I wasn’t expecting fancy by any means bit the hallways were like American Horror Story vibes.
