Pretty good hotel. The pool situation is ridiculous. The “adult pool” is super crowded and everything at the pool area is overpriced for frozen food items and well drinks. But overall hotel room and stay was good.

When I checked the bathroom sink was clogged and I had to call maintenance to fix it , then Itook a shower and the shampoo was empty. Ext when I tried logging onto the internet I couldn’t connect and I needed to get a report finished for the meeting I was there to attend .I spent a total of three hours on the three different call with IT TECH SUPPORT,and they couldn’t fix the issue.So I didn’t have internet acces in my room 22141 the entire stay Wed-Sat.I complained the the front desk and the lady in customer support was very rude and offed to change rooms but wouldn’t give me a room with the same type of view or better because she very rudely told me I didn’t pay for a view room.They offered a $50,00 credit for the STARBUCKS in the lobby and when we went there there was no credit issued.

I would stay at flamingo again, especially for the entrance to the Go Pool for free hehe. The parking was not great! You have to use the hotel key at the kiosks but they don’t work and we have to constantly be calling the help desk to open the arm. Other than that I upgraded to a room with a view and it was worth it service was great too!

This place is great for a couples trip. The Go Pool is super fun with music and a fun set-up, but there is limited free seating and requires you to be 21. The family pool is also nice, but considerably smaller. The room was clean and comfortable. The key cards for the elevator are a gong show though, so that is something that definitely needs to be fixed. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

Customer experience was lacking.
The bathroom was not clean and there was no soap anywhere. We had to ask for hand soap twice. There was some type of shampoo smeared on the shower wall that was there when we arrived and still there 4 days later when we left. The air-conditioning in the room kept shutting itself off, but the room was clearly not cooled. All of this is not that big of a deal, but what was bothersome was that when we went to the desk to address this shortly after check in, they wouldn't let us switch rooms.

Overall a great stay. Very convenient location. Staff was great and I loved the text option for services and for any questions. I appreciate the mini fridge!! I was bummed that the family pool area was so small and filled up very fast. I was also bummed that the buffet closed down and google is not updated.

Our original room was a dump, but we were willing to stick with it until we realized there was a giant wet spot on the carpet. We called and after an hour no one showed up so I went down to the check in counter and they were nice enough to give us another room that I think was an upgrade, but they didn’t charge us more. The hotel is being renovated and some of the rooms are still really outdated with stains on the carpet and very old furniture.

I really wanted to leave a good review, but my last night made it a 1 star at best. At 1 am we noticed water dripping from a small tube in the ceiling in the bathroom. It was steadily dripping water onto the counter, right INTO my makeup bag. My makeup bag was half full of water and a lot of my makeup was ruined. When we called about it, they said they would send someone up. After waiting over 30 minutes, I walked down to the front desk to complain and they sent someone up right away. The maintenace guy told us that the small pencil sized tube that was dripping water was for condensation to escape the bathroom (the fan did not work) and that the filter was clogged, ice had built up and was draining out. This was actually INTENTIALLY designed to drip water onto the counter. I don't know how this is even up to code, but he said there was no way to stop it except just change the filter and wait for it to drain, so we had to leave the ice bucket on the counter to collect the water! It was almost 3 am by the time we were able to finally sleep for a couple hours before catching an 8 am flight. We were not offered any consolation except told to file a claim for damaged property. Before this I would have given the hotel 4 stars. Location and price is awesome. Water pressure is great but took AT LEAST 20 mins for hot water. Has a fridge but no microwave. Housekeeping cleaned the room every day. Comfy beds. Hotel is old and run down, even "renovated" rooms like we had. Disappointing.
