Our stay at El Cortez was great! Stayed at the top floor 15. Nice, big clean room! No complaints at all, check in/out was quick and staff was wonderful. I would stay here again :)

Underrated hotel casino in Vegas .. though I stayed only for one night .. my experience was flawless , from checking in to the bell guy helping with my stuff , shuttle bus driver that’s extra helpful . I’m gonna stay here again when I have a chance .

Great Fremont St. DTLV Stay
The 2022 remodel totally refreshed and updated the rooms. Parking is free and the structure has security. Fabulous location for Fremont St. and DTLV (downtown Las Vegas) food, art and entertainment. While we only visited one bar on the property, the gaming, Starbucks and other areas looked nice. The staff at every point of our stay were fabulous. We are local and will definitely be back.

The bathroom was stained and looked dirty. The quality of toilet paper and tissues was very poor. We needed more lighting as well. The wrist band key cards is a good idea.

We were inbthe pavilion and the first night the music was especially loud. We had to shput to be heard in our room. The carpet was dirty and shower had mold in it. Front deak said they couldnhelp us out for another 50 a night otherwise tough luck. Wont be back

As soon as I check in I find out that I need to pay additional fees that was not listed on Expedia. In addition, the music from the street is so loud that I ended up sleeping at 5am in the morning and almost missed my flight.

Rooms where wonderful. Food was good. Stayed a couple days. The only issue I had was they didn't clean the room the second day. So I just asked for extra towels. They where quick to bring them. Would definitely stay again.

We stayed in the original building right before NYE. It was very well done, basic but loved staying downtown. Spent some time in the arts district and with in and out parking it was super easy. Quick walk to the container park and unique independent restaurants. The casino is small- staff felt small and like a family. Immaculate room. I get easily overwhelmed by smoke smells in some downtown hotels, no issues whatsoever here. Only wish would be a window that opened, but it is original to the property so I get it, and a fan in the bathroom would have been nice. Overall loved my two nights here, this hotel had been on my Vegas bucket list for a long time.

Staff was great, free parking, just a block away from Freemont entrance, but still quiet for sleeping. Great burger place across the street and pizza place a few buildings down.
