This was our second year staying at the El Cortez. Again, it was a very enjoyable stay. The room is, for the price, very decent. The hotel is in the Freemont district and walking to cool locations is very simple. There are a lot of fun dinning experiences very close to the hotel. They also have a guest voucher program which is pretty cool. We'll be back again next year!

I paid my room as a refundable room and got there after driving eight hours with my two grandkids and they let me know then that the room is no kids at all in the building. I did not get a refund. The atmosphere was awful and I would steer clear from this place.
