We really enjoyed our 10 day stay here. Second time I have stayed there. Food good, gambling reasonable, very friendly, hotel quiet, pool area lovely. I gave it 4 out of 5. Not going with 5 was getting our room cleaned, and replenishing soap, toilet paper, water, etc. I understand not room cleaning every day but even when done most of the usual things were not replenished so we were constantly phoning down requesting them. They came quickly but bit of a nuisance. Also we were told by the front desk a variety of rules regarding when the cleaning was done. 3 different scenarios by 3 different front desk people. We ended up having our beds made once. And limited cleaning twice. All in all, I would certainly recommend it and would stay again.

The non-smoking room had a faint smoke smell. Despite being a block away, the noise in the room from Fremont Street was very loud until at least midnight. There was no coffee maker in the room and the hotel would not provide one because they said we were not in the right tower. When we booked through Travelocity, we were told the property would charge an extra $39 per night in fees, but we were not told about the extra $5.07 per night in occupancy taxes. The elevator in the parking lot did not work and the stairs went past a large pile of trash.

Disappointing - we’ve stayed here before without issue but this time was not great. Upon arrival, they were somehow ‘sold out’ of the type of room we booked. No compensation offered. I mentioned that we’d booked through Expedia and nothing happened - no offer for upgrade. Room wasn’t cleaned, no fresh towels or sheets for our entire 4 day stay. Garbage in hallway sat for 3 days. Resort fee for nothing extra at all. Probably won’t stay again.

I like staying at the downtown grand in Vegas. It’s a small casino that’s clean, has many dining options, good slots and the staff are super friendly. I like it best because you don’t have to walk through a giant casino floor to get to everything. They have a great pool and the rooms are updated. I’ll be staying again there soon.

The front desk agents were very pleasant and helpful! Check in was smooth and easy! Our toilet did have trouble with flushing but we talked to the front desk about it and they fixed it promptly! The location is super close to Fremont street and right across the street from the Mob Museum and some good eats! Would recommend this hotel! We will definitely be staying here again!!
