When I checked in they required a $5 parking fee to park. In a lot shared with a bank and a gym. I asked if they had a pass to put in the window they said no. Just a way to scam $5 off of you. The Expedia site said free parking. They also asked for my email to join their Sonesta club and get faster internet speed. I never got it and when I called the front desk they said they never heard of such a thing. Scammer hotel for sure!

Unclean and neglected.

I had a terrible experience. The room was outdated, dirty. The hotel corridors going to the room had a strong smell of marijuana. The carpet had stains, and the furniture was worn out. Overall, the hotel felt unclean and neglected. The staff was rude, making cancellation uncomfortable. I would not recommend staying here. The pictures posted can be 10 years old and don't reflect the actual state of the hotel.

Clean, but highway is loud

The hotel was clean, staff was fairly friendly. But it is very close to a busy highway and so quite noisy. My first night, I had a room that was on the highway side. It was so loud, I asked to be moved for the second night. They accommodated me very kindly. While the next night was slightly quieter on the street side, it was unfortunately on the second floor close to where people can smoke outside. At one point, the smell of marijuana came into my room quite strongly through the vent, but turning off the heat reduced that noticeably and I didn’t have that happen again. Other than those things, the room was clean and nothing seemed worn out. Everything worked well. It is conveniently near fast food like Chick Fil A and Chipotle. So - maybe just bring ear plugs in case you’re in a room closer to the highway side and try not to get a room by the smoking area outside!

This is a bare bones hotel. No restaurant, no bar, no room service (unless you request it). Hallways and rooms were moderately clean. Definitely an older hotel with new wallpaper and paint. On the plus side: the bed was comfortable, staff were generally accommodating, and the area was quiet and convenient to shopping and playing fields for sports.
