My first time in Langkawi, it was a lovely time overall. Unfortunately I don’t think I would be booking with this hotel again. There was a bit of an ant problem in the room we were first given. There were ants all over the door and near the kettle area. We asked to move rooms and after about 1hr, they moved us. Unfortunately, this room also had ants although not as many. We did have to ask and remind the housekeeping to spray our room every day. I’m not sure if this is a common problem in forest like areas, but I’ve not had this issue before staying anywhere. It made me quite paranoid every night going to sleep thinking ants were going to bite me! It wasn’t fun at all. Although the resort is lovely and the staff were friendly and their 24hr buggy service is good too. Sadly for the price we paid, I would go for another hotel next time as I felt like I was just constantly checking for ants!

Very nice stay, only complaint was the pool bar staff who were lazy, spent thevwhole day chatting amongst themselves. Went to Horizon pool and rhe service was so much better befitting the property status

Been a Pelangi 3x now. With the new pool and newly renovated rooms, simply perfect. Glad they have a tennis court although the court needs resurfacing / washing. Last year I brought 8 of my family. Tgey love it. Will be back again.

Pelangi was a great stay. The amenities eg the pool was fantastic. I didn’t enjoy the food that much and I also thought that some of the areas needed some maintenance. I had to be asked to be moved to a different room as my air conditioning wasn’t working. A lot of the walls were patched up. My shower kept turning off sometimes. It would also be good to offer more daily free events. Yoga is only done twice a week. As a guest you pay a lot of money to stay here and the value isn’t as great as places in Bali

Fantastic hotel with lovely staff. We did have a few issues with the room but quickly sorted. We had 2 rooms with our teenage kids so were given interconnected rooms. Restaurants on site were lovely, but resort on your doorstep too. New pool wasn’t quite finished but the other pool was perfect and clean. Will use it as an excuse to go back.

We stayed at this resort for our honeymoon and we’re so glad we didn’t choose to stay anywhere else. We loved it and enjoyed our stay here. Made the first part of our honeymoon trip start off well!!
