Lovely building but the accommodation is in blocks a short walk or drive from the hotel. No breakfast is served which is a shame. Rooms are nice, comfortable and warm. It’s self catering in the rooms, large.

Accidental delight! Comfy beds, spotless room, and a stay in an ancient castle-like historic compound. This place is maintained lovingly by a local association. It has multiple buildings on beautiful grounds, and is a suitable venue for any special event. We were simply looking for a place to land before our narrowboat adventure. What we got was a deep dive into history, staying at a home that once belonged to Lady Jane Grey. The staff was fantastic. We arrived too early for check in, yet the management was so kind, were offered an upgrade for our convenience. What a delightful piece of history we stumbled upon! Highly recommended!

What a beautiful place. We were unfortunately in a car accident during our holiday but the staff at Thurnham hall were all amazing. They offered to help us with our bags when we checked out and all the staff made us feel very special. I would highly recommend a stay here.
