Dusappointing

Expensive, especially weekends, for modest motel with poor breakfast, no fresh fruit, and no hot water one morning. Had to let it run 28 min one night to get it when it is 29 degrees outside. Had no choice as it was closest place to my brother who just had heart attack and need to help get his house in better shape.

Nice, clean pleasant hotel stay

Stayed for a volleyball tournament at Spooky Nook, about a 8min drive. Pleased with hotel- staff was nice, room clean, beds comfy, breakfast included. Served breakfast an hour early for girls leaving early for tournament, very cool of them. Only disappointment was the hot water took a while to heat up because it was recently worked on. Other then that- great stay!

Staff were professional and helpful. Room was very clean and bed comfortable. Breakfast selections were limited and stale bagels and non working waffle maker. So breakfast choices need to improve.

Old. Room temperature was very hard to balance — very hot or very cold. Very old room temperature machine which was extremely loud. Disturbed sleeping. Breakfast was bad. Things were out and not repleted. “Hard boiled” eggs were not boiled at all — literally raw, runny yolks. No new toilet paper. Old roll left on. Left a lot to be desired for the price we paid.

Decent hotel - off the beaten path - But worst nights sleep ever - the bed had some kind of topper under the sheet that made it SO hot. The shower floor was super slippery. But room was super spacious and front desk staff was very nice.

Old furniture, linoleum floor, just a depressing place. Trashy breakfast. I know you want to take advantage of volleyball players just like the organizers profit from them, but if there's a God, you and they will rot in hell.

Overall, a let down.

I had to do maintenance in my room while the staff seemed apathetic. I was also unfortunate that I could not utilize my entire stay due to inclement weather preventing my travels, and more unfortunate that they refused to refund money for nights I did not stay. Lastly, the breakfast was minimal.

I hope hotel waffles are your thing!

Good: safe, convenient, quiet location; clean and snug room; cheerful and competent staff. Bad: it was the worst hotel breakfast I’ve ever experienced anywhere. They offered nothing nutritious. No eggs or other low-carb protein, fresh fruit of any kind, zero-sugar-added yogurt. It was a food desert!
