Bathwater was brown. This could be due to the local water supply, so may not be the hotel's fault. This is a very rural town in Eastern Oregon. The waffle from the breakfast bar tasted quite sour. Have had these alot in the past at other hotels and this was very unusual. How long does the batter sit? Is it refrigerated? I noticed many of the appliances in the breakfast area were unplugged until we arrived including the juice machine.

Great Stay in Lakeview
We have stayed in this motel several times. It is very clean and comfortable. The bed is comfortable and the air-conditioning is good. We enjoyed having the refrigerator and the microwave. Everything is clean and the flowers on the property are lovely.

It’s OK motel for one night
Check in was slow. Motel (yes it’s a motel) room was clean and beds were comfortable. Fridge was not on upon arrival and did not realize it until the next morning after our leftovers were in there all night. Pool was disgusting- it needed to be cleaned as obvious green algae on bottom. Hot (warm) tub smelled of mildew. Breakfast typical basic that you’d expect. With the room itself being comfy with working AC, it’s fine for one night. Price a bit high but not much to choose from in that area.

Better than we imagined
Very happy with our stay. Room was clean, beds were comfortable, pool and spa were refreshing, cookies at check in were delicious and breakfast had everything you could want.

The front desk was cheerful when checkont me in. The water that flowed into the shower had a brown hue. When we entered our room it had a very strong perfume smell that was unpleasant. My husband and I have asthma and this caused us some discomfort. We booked our room for 4 people, two adults and two children. There were only three standard sized towls in the bathroom. I went to the front desk to ask about getting two more towels and was told she had to go get some from the laundry and to give her some time. She said she would bring them to our room. She never delivered the towels.

The only thing that let this hotel down was the breakfast. It didn’t have much choice. Everything else was very good, the room was quiet and clean.

What a strange little place
Well... this was an interesting place. It was probably the nicest hotel in the area, so that was good. The check in took over 40 minutes... the clerk just didn't use the computer very well. She had to keep starting over. The room was clean and fine, but the keys to the room did not work! When my husband went back to get them changed, they STILL didn't work! Finally, he was able to get one key to work: You put it in 4 times, hold your breath, pray, and MAYBE it works!!! The room was very clean and also quiet, and that was good.
