Carpet cleaning was going on from when we checked in around 1PM till 6PM. It was a one night stay for our anniversary but we received no consideration. My husband was playing in a golf tournament the next morning so the accommodation was sufficient for our needs. Not someplace I would stay for a special occasion.

Clean but smelly!
This place was clean but they use an air freshner that is toxic. Especially for guests with chemical sensitivities. The sheets and towels also had a strong detergent smell. Breakfast was so so, nothing fresh. There is a fenced dog park. 🐕

Did not like that the room wasn't cleaned daily!! Felt like Marriott was taking advantage of its guests. The nights it wasn't cleaned should have been cheaper. Even worse, we had to go to front desk to get our own towels, soap, and cups. Also, the flashing green light on the smoke alarm all night did not make for restful sleep.

Mountains are beautiful. Surprise from hotel that $100 pet fee is charged! Expedia did not state that high price, may have considered a different property prior to traveling to Truckee. Key card would not work on side doors only to room. Hotel accepts dogs but does not have any pet stations. Expensive hotel, breakfast is good.
