Quality hotel, but beware of breakfast
Hotel was nicely furnished and had good decor, but the downsides were the breakfast quality and the parking fee. The breakfast can easily be improved with better cooking and preparation of the eggs and including normal bacon.

I don’t usually rate my stays but this one was amazing, the whole place from A-Z was very well invested in from nice bathrooms to a gym and jacuzzi. The cherry on top was the free continental breakfast that was better than every other one that I have tried. Plus the staff was very sweet and helpful. I wish all places around Tahoe are just as good.

Could get a comparable room at different place
It is dog friendly but there is a $100/stay pet fee that is not listed on hotels.com when you book. Also, emotional support dogs do not count as service animals. The suite itself was very spacious but the trundle bed was not comfortable and ALL of the pillows were flat. There was also a flashing green light from the smoke detector that kept me awake and it was difficult to regulate temperature because the AC was right next to the bed. So it would be too cold when blowing or just hot when not on. The breakfast is also standard hotel fair but felt even lower quality than other hotels.

My only suggestion is have a bar downstairs or something later at night for parents to have something to do after the kiddos go to bed (but are too young to be left alone while mom and dad go out to Tahoe or downtown truckee)

Comfortable stay.
Quiet comfortable. Checkin 20 min early. We received NO maid service even though we spent 2 nights and were gone from 8:30 AM to 5PM. Maintenance changed out a bad refrigerator within minutes of notice. Breakfast area clean, monitored by pleasant worker. Plenty of space to sit and variety of food choices.
