The property is beautifully updated. Wish they had more luggage racks so you didn’t have to carry your bags/luggage when checking out. The hotel restaurant was very nice just wish that the service had been faster. In the future, I would not use Expedia again as a third part to book our reservation. Had some mix up with billing for the room and Expedia took no responsibility and the hotel blamed it on Expedia. Over all the experience is always very good. We have stayed at this hotel numerous times over the years and now that it’s been remodeled it’s even better! Just wish when you book something it’s a seamless transaction not placing the blame on others. It takes away from your experience and your trip/vacation.

Our room was infested with gnats/bugs. They said they were totally booked and we couldn’t get another room so we had to find another place to stay. Most hotels keep an emergency room for situations like these. They are also wildly over-priced for what is basically an old Embassy Suites. They didn’t even offer a comped room at another date or even a comped dinner. Just sorry, you’re screwed, see ya. We will never stay at a Margaritaville again.

We enjoyed our visit! The room was nice and comfortable. But needs to have a microwave. We really enjoyed the jacuzzi and pool! Especially like that you have adult swim time till 12. Will definitely book again on our next visit to Tahoe.

Great hotel. I love that it’s Margaritaville now. Great restaurant options and clean rooms. I booked thru hotels.com for a King bed but on check in they told me our room was a Queen. They informed me that if they over booked rooms, they prioritize guests that booked thru their website.. thankfully they were able to switch rooms for me, and everything else was great.
