My second night I caught 2 roaches. One I swatted off the bed and the second I swatted off the nightstand. I brought it to attention to the front desk worker when I was checking out and they said they couldn’t adjust the amount they charged me for the two nights. I have a picture of the dead roach in the bathroom by the waste basket. I should the worker and they said they would notify the manager and he told me to contact Expedia.

Hotel Elevation is a great choice in South Lake Tahoe. Clean rooms, a prime location close to everything, and genuinely friendly staff. Highly recommend for a great stay!

Lovely staff. Great location. Beaches and skiing as close as it gets!! Perfect central location. Leave the car and walk or take the free bus to all the best places in South Lake Tahoe!

Sandy was AMAZING and very kind. He allowed us to check in early and provided a late check out. The room had a lake view and the bed was comfortable. The amenities around the hotel were convenient. We will stay here again! The staff is what makes this property a great South Lake Tahoe destination!

Hotel offer an excellent location close to beach and many dining options. Rooms was also clean and comfortable. The atmosphere was very relaxing and we loved walking in the neighborhood. Would return for sure!

Nice budget room in South Lake

This was probably the nicest "cheap" hotel we've stayed in for a winter ski weekend in South Lake Tahoe. Comfortable king bed, renovated bathroom, spacious and clean... Our particular room even had lake views! My only complaint was the annoying automatic bathroom light that blinded us during nighttime pee breaks and could not be manually turned off.

The pictures don't show what the rooms really look like. They are much more run down. There was a small burn hole on one blanket. I believe they intentionally put old, unworking batteries in the tv remote and non working bulb in the lamp, so then if you don't ask for them to fix, you save them electricity. The batteries in the remote looked like they had been chewed on by an animal and the guy at the front desk knew immediately it was the batteries that needed to he changed out when I called about TV not working, no way were those even close to batteries that weren't years old.
