I feel you guys should let your customers know there is construction going on. I feel it was kind of a slap in the face. The signs for direction were not real clear, we had to ask for assistance from a construction worker.

Hotel was under heavy construction, and they didn't mention it when booking. Still charged us full price. Got two queens when we booked a king, and it was a handicap room. Wolf restaurant was extremely overpriced with poor service. Will likely never stay at this property again.

A Letdown at Harveys

I recently stayed at Harveys, and unfortunately, it didn’t live up to expectations. The hotel is undergoing construction, which we were never informed about beforehand. Large sections of the property were being worked on, and it really took away from the overall atmosphere. What made it frustrating was the complete lack of communication. No mention during booking and it wasn't brought up by staff during check in. It felt like the guest experience wasn’t being considered at all. In-room dining and turndown service, were both missing without explanation. On a positive note, the room was clean and the valet and bell team were fantastic — friendly, professional, and attentive. They were the highlight of an otherwise disappointing visit.

Love the room

The hotel is kind of in shambles with the upgrades going on. You literally have to constantly ask people (anyone) for help getting around right now. And not necessarily staff. As one staff member sent us on a hunt for a relocated escalator that is actually, shut down right now! :( Thankfully a gambler heard our question and directed us to the elevator, not escalator. Our room was great, gorgeous view of lake and heavenly mountain. Except the air blew directly on one of the beds, which made sleeping difficult.

If we only knew that there were construction going on inside the building, we would have never booked our stay at Harvey's hotel casino. The concrete dust from the jack hammering caused my nose to bleed. Bummer!
