Ruined my vacation by playing games with my credit card. Was 3000 miles away from home, bank calls and say they detect fraud. Hotel was overcharging and made numerous errors. Still trying to fix it a week later.

Harrah's was conveniently located and very affordable. View of lake from 13th floor was very pleasant. Room furniture looked to be many years old, very worn, but no problem. Construction underway to spruce the place up seems welcome. Maid awakening us unnecessarily at 8:30am with doorbell to "confirm we are checking out at 11am" was not at all welcome after a late night in the casino. Coffeemaker was very dirty inside the water reservoir so opted for no coffee. Overall okay though.

This is the third Stateline hotel that I have stayed at this winter. After reading other reviews, I was expecting Harrah's would be at least somewhat better. But really there isn't much difference between Harvey's, Harrah's, and Bally's. All of them are showing their age in different ways. At Harrah's carpet in our room was needing replacement, bathrooms (yes two!) were small and should be remodeled to one nice one. Shower was small and didn't have very good pressure. There was a previous guest's dental pick on the floor (in plain sight). Nasty. The bed was comfortable and the blackout curtains worked well. If the price were the same for all of them, I'd stay at Bally's. Otherwise, I'd choose the cheapest one.

Two bathrooms saves the day.

The main air control is really bad, no fan sound and doesn't appear to actually regulate the room. I thought it was just our room but after talking to others on the floor the whole floor had the same issue. Luckily the staff was great and hooked us up with a box fan to put into our place. The best part about this place is the double bathroom. I have never seen that before and it was great for us! If it wasn't for the two bathrooms I wouldn't have been very happy with our stay. The location is nice but there is better.
