Beautiful room and views, was a little outdated. Our room had two bathrooms which was pretty awesome. Clean and comfortable. Good price as it was right before thanksgiving. Conveniently located.

We have been staying in South Lake Tahoe for decades and have rarely had a bad experience. This was my son's 21st birthday and it was a great time! The rooms at Harrahs were comfortable, spacious and had 2 bathrooms! A huge plus for both my son and his friend and my wife and myself. Highly recommend!

Parking is extra $20 per night and property fees are quite a bit as well. If you don’t mind paying go for it. But parking isn’t worth it. Cheaper parking is available next block over by CVS

Harrah’s somewhat run down and funky. The first room we were in had a burnt out lightbulb and the carpet was in need of replacing. We had to switch rooms because there was a leak in the bathroom from the heat lamp fixture on the ceiling. The climate control didn’t seem to make any difference to temperature in either room. Only one restaurant was open (the expensive Italian place), everything else was under construction or just gone even though the website signs around the property still listed them. It may not be better at the other casinos at Stateline, but I’ll try a different one next time.

We upgraded our room and they didn’t disclose the actual price so it was about 3x the price they stated. The room was not maintained well and our neighbors were up partying and it took security almost an hour to get up to check on the noise level middle of the night. Fairly disappointed

Location was the only great thing about Harrah’s. Other than that the resort is very old and not updated. The beds are clean, but are old spring mattresses. It’s fine if you’re paying around $50 a night. We arrived around 6pm and the hotel check in employee did not seem to be in a good mood and was very short with us.

Upon arrival, we got to our destination earlier that expected and the front desk receptionist gave us the opportunity of early check in. To our surprise, we had an excellent view of Lake Tahoe and the surrounding mountains with snow. It was an amazing view while having our hot chocolate in our room as snow flurries fell. The room was cozy an invited you to want to say indoors at times. The diverse atmosphere of bars, with live music and interactive experiences of friendly crowds was so much fun! The slot machines were fun to play with the option of leading into a sister casino through a tunnel and never having to wear your jacket to stay warm was convenient for us. In addition, all staff, including Shuttle drivers, at the Harrah’s were friendly, helpful and attentive Thank you Harrah’s for an AMAZING experience and would love to come back sometime in the not to far future!
