Not like the reviews I read

The suite smelled very musty, the couch was falling apart, there wasnt enough living room seating, the bathroom door was super janky-wouldnt shut properly, and the noise from the stop sign right outside the bedrooms was horrible-people squealing tires all night. Also the breakfast was very mediocre. Its probably just fine if you want to ski all day and have a place to sleep.

I don’t know how this place is in business. Check in took an hour because the card keys weren’t working. So I made about 6 trips back and forth from our room to the front desk before they offered to walk us to the room. They eventually had to use their master key to let us in. I even did an early check in via the txt they sent us. When we got there they still made me do an entire check in at the front desk. They shuffled us from one building to the next for a room. Rooms were dirty. Towels were dirty and used. We went to target to buy our own towels. Website has false advertisement of what the “newly renovated” rooms looked like. Mattress was so old we had springs in our backs and sides. Sheets were like sandpaper. Pillows were small square flat blocks. Very noisy property. Parties were happening at the pool and above us. Sounded like the roof was going to cave in. Smells of mildew as soon as you walked in the building and rooms. You can clearly tell this property use to be an old apartment complex that was cheaply slapped together into a hotel. Not only did we get no sleep staying here, the property itself is extremely inconvenient and hard to navigate.

I’m extremely disappointed with my stay. The room was dirty — a fingernail on the bed, trash in the bin, a dead fly in the bathroom, a leaking ceiling, and a broken shower handle. My toddler wiped up spilled water and the paper towel came up black. Most concerning, I unknowingly used a previously used towel — completely unacceptable and a health risk. I told the front desk what had happened and asked for clean towels and for a manager to contact me. Neither happened. This place should be condemned.

ABSOLUTELY loved this place. First, in this economy, adding a theme every night that’s included with your stay. Amazing touch. Hot chocolate, smores, wine and more. Just a couple steps from our room. Beautiful hot tub. Clean and didn’t have that nasty hot tub smell. Plus you can walk to any thing you want. There was no need to drive my car for the four days. It was awesome. Saved gas. And saw some beautiful snow for the first time. Lovely place. Lovely staff. I couldnt run a better hotel.

The “elevator” is downright SCARY!! I had a knee injury so stairs were not an option. We loaded up a full size bell cart- then it didn’t fit thru the garage door. Had to reload it. Then pushed it to the elevator (that was more like a freight or staff elevator). Says “3 persons or 750 lb max” which we truly struggled to figure out if 2 adults (200+ and 170+) plus all our luggage (? lbs??) would HOLD. We didn’t realize that the bell cart itself would not fit into the elevator. After my 6-2 strong hubby shoved it in, we could barely both fit inside with it. Then we squeezed in and the door shut but an ADDITIONAL SET OF DOORS slid closed!! It was like sardines in a can and we held our breaths and crossed our fingers. The floor buttons are also confusing (room 526 was on flr 2?? But we managed and used a smaller cart to leave. Whew!

Very nice place to stay. Closed to the lake, food, casinos, stores, target. We loved the space in the room and super clean and new. The view was nice to the pool.
