It did not look like the pics on the website, the room was so small that we left, we didn’t like and felt so tiny for our stuff and us, the outside looked like they didn’t keep up with the place and the stairs were terrible

Bang for your buck and really nice workers!

Super nice receptionist and issue with pilot light going out was resolved quickly by the maintenance guy who was also really nice. Great value for the money if you just need a place to crash and aren't picky about the little things.

Old and needs a makeover!!

This motel definitely needs to be remodeled. Beds were rough, microwave was so old, it didn’t even pop our popcorn we bought from the store!! The small fridge was leaking on the floor. Bathroom was dated with black/white checkerboard tile. There were holes in wall in the bathroom. We definitely aren’t going to stay at this place again. The front office woman was very nice and sweet, but not for the $130 a night price tag!! There are better places to stay in South Lake for the price!! My bad for not doing more research!

I never leave a review if I'm Satisfied with my stay but this one is different. The general manager of the property was mean and grumpy to me and my guest. We went to the convenience store. And I picked the wrong key and we could not get into my room. The office seems closed and seems no one is there. While we were waiting outside to call the number hoping somebody pick up the phone ( it was very late 4 am ) my guest was smoking outside and we couldn't even think that they had a designated area because we kept looking for a way for us to contact them. In this situation, I left my phone inside my room and we have been using my guest phone to call them. After almost an hour of waiting we sat in my car because it was cold and I saw this general manager come out from the office and approach her. I was so pleased to ask for help from her to open a door for us. The moment she approached us she was mean demeanor to me and my guest finger-pointing at my Guest because he smoked in an undesignated area she told us we were loud and I couldn't bring the Guest into my room. First of all, we are not loud because if we are loud the other guests complain to us never experienced in any hotel I’ve been to that I can't bring guests into my room. She was very mean to my guest and she insisting letting my guest out of the hotel and kept arguing with us instead of asking politely to us if we needed help in the first place to think she saw us in the camera that we were outside instead she texted me

Perfectly located motel for the value-conscious!

Great simple motel with great location near Heavenly Ski Resort and Stateline. Warm room, comfortable bed and good water pressure for the shower. Ample parking. This is a great value motel for those that just want the basics done right!

Nice hidden gem

Staff is extremely friendly. The whole facility was perfect for our needs. You can tell they have put a lot of work into the facility. We just needed a quick stay for the reggae festival and weren’t looking for anything exuberant, but after staying here, we would come back for a multi-day vacation. Online check-in was very convenient and easy. Free coffee in the morning! We’ll be back

Good motel quality (def not a hotel)

For room quality, there is a scale for motels and a different scale for hotels. On the motel scale, this is the top end - clean, basic, convenient. Better than most motels because it was easy and clean but the price was def in the hotel range for this particular weekend. On the hotel scale, this would have lost major points for furniture, decor, ambiance. The top sheet/blanket was dusty, the bathroom was FREEZING cold, the room was dark (there were only two light and even with those on, it felt dark in the room)
