We had a wonderful time staying at Big Pines Mountain house. We were welcomed by friendly front desk staff and check in was quick. Room we got was on second floor with a partial view of mountains which we fully cherished. Room was spotless and comfortable. We also appreciate the amenities provided which made our stay more comfortable and location was also very convenient walking distance to everything.

We got a great deal as the property was conveniently located with clean and comfortable rooms and includes amenities like Flat tv , microwave, refrigerator, coffee maker, iron board and all other amenities you need to make your stay comfortable. Front desk staff was also nice and gave us a hazzled free check in and check out. We would surely come back!

We got early check in on request. Front desk guy was very friendly and accomodation. Room was clean and comfortable just as we wanted. Bathroom was clean and shower pressure was great, housekeeping did a great job. Adequate lighting in room with a working desk. Location was central and walking distance from all activities.

We had a wonderful experience at Big Pines. We got a quick check in experience with friendly front desk staff. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. There were amenities like microwave and mini refrigerator and a flat tv and a handy desk. Housekeeping did a fantastic job everyday. Location was great, a few minutes walk to Heavenly village and Casino's.

We spend a quality time at Big Pines Mountain House here at South Lake Tahoe. It was a very relaxing and comfortable stay for us. Staff was nice and check in process was quick. We like the room we got and were happy with the amenities provided. Location of the Hotel was great and we enjoyed walking in the neighborhood. Would stay again!

Owners/staff are not unfriendly, but are not friendly either. Hotel is old and I usually clean (I have stayed here many times) this time the room we stayed in was not totally clean. The safe did not work, nor did the “fireplace”. We usually stay here because we bring up dogs. This time we did not bring the dogs. I would not recommend to stay here if you do not have pets.
