Comfort and modern design
The Bluebird Hotel offers a charming stay with a great location near Mirror Lake and Main Street. We appreciated the comfy, modern design and spacious rooms, which blend rustic and contemporary styles. The staff is very friendly and attentive, and the lobby lovely.

Great stay!
Wonderful. Comfy stay for 2 nights. Hotel was clean, reception staff and manager were excellent. Nice fireplaces in lobby areas which were warm and cozy. Bartender very nice. Had drinks near fireplace both evenings. I would highly reommend; spacious room with comfortable bed and nice shower.

Extremely Disappointing - More Youth Hostel than Hotel Beautiful interior, but that's where the positives end. Our Thanksgiving stay was ruined by: - No breakfast (despite website claims), and weekend options were abysmal. - Pool closed the entire time. - Bar unregularly staffed, lounge overrun by 15 unsupervised, screaming kids playing Tag. Staff did nothing despite complaints. - Housekeeping only once in 4 days. - "Pet-friendly" is a joke. $35/day dog fee, but no dogs allowed unattended in rooms, - no food in the hotel. Felt more like a youth hostel with unsupervised kids running wild. Left more stressed than we arrived. Avoid this place, especially for people seeking a relaxing getaway. W. Klatte

When we arrived we were not informed of the pool being down, nor when i booked our stay. That was one of the things we were looking forward to. Also when we asked for directions from a worker where the pool was we were told where to go but not told that the pool was down so it was a surprise when we found it. Then when we were lying on the pullout sofa there was someone elses old underwear still left there from someone else who stayed before us.

There was no ironing board in our room and our room’s door did not have an interior latch lock. Other than that it was great. The room and lobby were both beautiful and the location was fantastic, right downtown.
