Our room was not in the main part of the hotel. They fail to tell you that they have 3 different buildings. Ours was under ground. Our shower leaked all over the floor which could have lead to serious injury. Our bathtub was broken, and the heat vent blew large dust particles in the room. Overall not the best stay

This hotel is very shabby and is in need of a reno. The main hallway and floors are scuffed and there was alot of dirt and bits of garbage. The furniture is worn and far too soft. The room is ok if you can tolerate a slight mould smell. The windows have shutters that let in lots of light in the morning. This hotel was overpriced.

I stayed at this resort many times decades ago. This was our first time back since then. I’m happy to share it is still as wonderful as it used to be! The hotel itself is beautiful, very Adirondack! The front desk staff was friendly and so helpful. We arrived early so I went in to inquire about using the parking garage until it was time to check in. The clerk said she’d see if our room was ready and if so, we could go ahead and check in. That was so kind, and gave us a chance to rest a bit before meeting up with our family. The beds were super comfy and the bathroom and shower were beautiful. Shampoo, conditioner, lotion, shower cap and soap was provided. Each room has a small balcony with 2 chairs and a table, ours overlooked the pool (closed at this time of year) and a view of the lake. The tv had full cable, and the hotel has free WiFi. We could not have been happier with our stay!

The town was beautiful and the property was nice a little older but nice and very clean. I did not know that when I booked our room, we would be in a separate building down the street from the main hotel. I may have selected my room differently. Had I known.

Great Hotel in Downtown Lake Placid
We stayed here as a family of 3 in the water view rooms. They are in a separate part of the hotel apart from the main building. The parking is free and easy. The view from the water view rooms over the lake was awesome. Room was very clean and the property was well kept in general. Would stay here again in Lake Placid.
