My sister and I went for a little sisters getaway and we both loved this hotel! So fresh and clean with comfortable beds and pillows! The cabana bar was awesome! We can’t wait to go back when it’s not raining so we can enjoy the fire pits, heated pool and to lounge on their beach.

Check in was at 4:00. Was told our room wasn’t ready but they would text us when it was. About 45 minutes go by and no text. Went to the front desk and the older lady checked and it miraculously was just done 5 minutes prior. I asked if we could get some sort of credit and she immediately made a face and threw down our room key and said she would have to check with management (who of course were supposedly not in) We recognize that the room not being ready was not her fault. I didn’t bother asking about that upon check out. Rooms are hard to find and they give you a map like you’re Dora the Explorer. We asked a man that had a Georgian shirt on and he didn’t even know. Thankfully a customer that apparently stays there often knew and helped us. It would be good idea to put up signs for the rooms in the back. It was also Americade week which is our fault for not checking prior and there were a lot of motorcycles. Thankfully we got a lakeview room and it was very quiet. The room itself was nice and except the exposed circuit panel that seemed dangerous. The lights in the ceiling looked like they were gonna fall out. The bathroom was nice. The property says “no smoking” except in the designated areas, but people were smoking all over and had to walk through a cloud of cigar smoke by the pool area. The only saving grace was Jo-Jo the bartender. She was sweet and personable and made the drinks really good! She will be missed since we won’t stay here again.

Conveniently located near all attractions in lake george. Pool is heated for convenience although it is outdoors. Their restaurant was great, ate twice there, truly impressed. Although property looked outdated from the outside, our room had been updated and was nice. We would definitely recommend the stay here and come back when visiting Lake George.

My trip with my family was amazing, they enjoyed every minute of our stay. Our room was clean and comfortable. The food at the Galley was tasty. The pool was enjoyable, and we also made full use of the gym and laundry services offered. Over all it was a wonderful experience for my family and i and we highly recommend the Georgian Lakeside Resort.
