I was able to get a bathtub as I requested.It stated there were coin laundry machines to wash some clothes. But the small washroom was unkept and the washing machine could use an update.

There are no shower mats provided at this hotel. In the other hotels in the area they do provide those for safety purposes. As a result of not having a mat available in the shower slipped and fell. Luckily, I didn't break any bones but I thought about the other customers who potentially could. They should consider having rooms in one area for people who are bring there pets. I didn't enjoy hearing barking dogs all night and day.

Epic fail for a Wyndham hotel

Our stay at the La Quinta westlakes La. was the worse I’ve ever had. The refrigerator in the room would not close properly. The ice that formed inside would defrost and leak on the floor. The room key on the second day did not work after we spent all day sightseeing. When we returned and went to our room, my wife had to return to the front desk to have them reenter the access code so the key would work. On the third day the same thing happened and I had to go down and have them re-initialize it so we could enter our room again. That same night we decided to have them re-initialize it before going back to our room so that we wouldn’t have to go down a third time. The breakfast was not very appealing. The eggs tasted bland, the orange juice ran out and the coffee wasn’t very hot. Over all a terrible stay

They didn't clean the room daily. Not enough shampoo and soap for two people that have lots of long hair. Dog yapping next door in the middle of the night. Elevator didn't work for a while.

He we live in Austin Texas and when we decide to go out we stay downtown. So we are kinda frequent fliers...When we go to Louisiana we have stayed three different times at the Westlake Location. It is the perfect location to visit all 3 casinos. I feel like we are done with Laquinta now. All 3 times we have stayed there the elevator is either broken or over heated. with a bad knee the stairs are not for me. The room we had this occasion had too much smell in it. there were dogs barking in the hotel and the hall ways reeked of marijuana. I know things can happen beyond control but this place has become a pattern, It is also hard to find someone working the front desk. They leave a note with a cell number........we stayed 3/14-3/16. We booked thru hotel.com
