The staff were friendly and helpful, the facilities and room was clean however, we stayed in room 06 but please be aware there is no TV in the room if this is important for you and the walls are not the best as noise from the adjacent rooms and guests passing in the corridor is quite audible.

Lovely sized room. Quality furnishings and decor. Great shower with fluffy towels and comfortable bed.. Staff attention/breakfast service could’ve been better, a bit shambolic; tea no milk, toast no butter, quite basic points but fell short of expectations given the price of rooms and quality in other aspects

Lovely hotel

Lovely hotel, amazing evening meals, very helpful staff as we got a slow puncture and the owner helped inflate the tyre so we could get to a garage. Great room and lovely stay, thank you.

Pretty close to perfect

Wonderfully appointed room, stylish common areas and amazing food with locally sourced produce. The breakfast was an added bonus. All staff were accommodating and friendly. Excellent location.

One of life’s little treats

This is a marvellous gem of an hotel and I will certainly be back. Professionally friendly staff, tastefully decorated, imaginative menus and excellent food, beautifully presented. All in all, a must-have treat.

Great hotel if you want to completely go off grid and have a social media detox. No TV in bedroom and in one of our rooms no wi-fi either, felt like I had gone back in time! Also in the room with no wifi there was limited shower time (5 mins) and only cold water from the shower head in the bath. Not the best nights stay for the money at all. But I can say without any hesitation that the food was exceptional both dinner and breakfast. So very much depends on what you want from a hotel stay. We were on the NC500 trip so only staying one night so after a long days driving it would have been nice to relax in the room watching the Tennis!

Beautiful hotel

A lovely overnight stay in this hotel. Staff very friendly. Restaurant food was excellent but maybe a little pricey. Room was good for an overnight stay.
