The property was all ocean front, the staff were very friendly and helpful. The only problem was for the first two days we had no water.After the water was turned on we had a very difficult time getting hot water. Management did take off one days fee and the daily fees. That made us quite happy.

The view out of the room was fantastic. The sun sets were beautiful. You could also see whales breaching in the water. That was pretty amazing. The property is in good shape but a little worn around the edges. All in all the stay was a four out of five.

Hotel was clean and quiet. Nice area to grill a meal and eat it outside. Pool was clean. Walkable distance to food trucks, grocery store, restaurant. Unit we stayed in was clean and no issues at all.

Our favorite spot when we spent 10 days in Maui, location is wonderful right on the beach. The facility overall is nice, very helpful reception staff, nice pool. Lots of grills for use of guests. The grassy areas right above the beach are great places to lounge. Epic sunsets here. The unit as advertised and had all we needed. Food trucks a quick walk, and groceries a 5 min drive. Would return.

We enjoyed the view of the ocean, turtles and whales. We felt safe on the property. We were told just the day before our arrival that there would be no cleaning of our room unless we paid extra. We stayed 15 nights. This new policy was unappreciated and the short notice via text unacceptable. The property did charge us a daily fee but we were not sure for what.

Always love to stay at the Mahana! Only complaint is the resort fees. No maid service throughout our 11 nights. Since they have reduced the services, they should lower the fee.
