We checked in late tuesday night so we just change and straight to bed. My wife took a shower first and the shower isnt draining. The room has no phone to call the front desk we had to use our cell phone to call. I told them that we r in the hurry we need to shower and head out. Customer service said they will have someone up there and it may take 12 hours for them to come. I asked them if we switch room cause we need to head out. They absolutely refused. We waited for over an hour. No one came so we just changed and head out.
We came back that night and the shower still hasnt been fixed and no one clean our room. I called the customer service again. 30 min later someone showed up. He said someone already fixed it. I said no they didnt. The guy didnt trust me. He came in and checked it out. It still not fixed. He offered us another room to shower and customer service offered 50 dollars credit like we gon come back there after all this??? They r crazy...
I liked the pool and hot tub area but i’d rather have key cards rather than the pin or app because the pin would sometimes not work or my phone was dying. I liked the easy access to customer service through the app!

Very noisy location. Room was a little too austere but the worst thing was the bed. It was so low we could hardly get in and out of it! The best thing about this place is the delightful staff.
My husband and I stayed here for one night. The hotel itself is fine, staff as well. I have one gripe: I disliked having to enter all my information onto their website prior to check in. I really disliked having to upload photos of my driver license. We forgot an item after we'd checked out and the hotel did notify us and we had the option to have the item sent back to us. I consider that to be a huge plus which we really appreciated.
there were bugs in the room on the dresser and bed side table. the front desk was not able to give us another room, the gave us lysol wipes & spray. the shower was also broke. they said they could not give us any credit since we booked thru hotels.com. I should be given a credit for what I paid. this stay was unacceptable
My hotel room was at the end of a corridor that felt like it was a walled off corner of the parking lot. The room itself felt creepy and overall poorly maintained. The air conditioning was broken, and in its place was a tiny portable heater and fan. Maybe the upstairs rooms are nicer, but if you have to stay in room 110, don’t!

Couldn't get into our room!
Underwhelmed by this stay. The first and second levels were updated in the hallways and shared spaces, but the 3rd floor, where we stayed, was under heavy construction. It was a mess. Elevator was loud and slow. We couldn't get into our room and had to call for a new code. New code only worked once, so we had to get a key fob from the front desk (luckily someone was there). That only allowed us into the building but not our room. We had to get a physical room key. Then the shower had no body wash. I text to request some and was simply told "we don't have any at this time." with no other solutions. And lastly, I was unable to request a later check out and was directed only to the app which was unhelpful. Not the experience we were expecting in Laguna Beach. I recommend they figure things out quickly.
Bed was just OK. Probably should be upgraded. Room was a good value.

Great location close to all that Laguna Beach offers. Some minor renovations going on but not intrusive to my experience at this great place, steps from the beach!
