I liked the ocean front room. Could use some upgrades to the tv and streaming options as well as upgrades to the bathroom. Otherwise it was clean and spacious and loved the sliding glass door and balcony.

This is our favorite hotel in Laguna. The setup for kids is perfect. Beach, pool, hot tub, and amazing beach amenities all setup for hotel guests. They have boogie boards to lend and lots of sand toys/sand games. It’s easy to get to, great little bar areas, and valet parking is $$ but easy and nice since most everything is walkable!

Hottest Hot Tub around, and big enough to not feel crowded. If Location is it, then Pacific Edge is the place. Only complaints would be that they need more ice machines. And of course, they want you to stay there but then gouge you by charging you to park there.

We have stayed at the Pacific Edge for the last 20 years. Lots of changes over the years, but overall it’s super convenient to beach access and it’s always clean.

Decent but not what they show you in the photos.

The service was genuinely good—everyone we encountered, from the front desk to the valet, was kind, helpful, and welcoming. The room was comfortable, and the view of the beach at sunset was absolutely beautiful. That said, we were very surprised by how different the property felt compared to the polished, stylish photos on Hotels.com. For the price point, the actual condition of the hotel didn’t quite live up to those expectations. There’s noticeable wear and tear throughout—from the elevators to the hallways and pool area—which gives the place a tired feel. Mostly some of the dingy alleyways you have to cross to get from the lobby to the rooms. This place definitely needs some fresh paint and a bit of loving. Some attention to detail would go a long way in elevating the experience to do justice to what they show you in the photos.

The staff was so amenable to our needs. When I registered online, I told them that my wife and I have a difficult time walking and that we would be most comforatable with as little walking as possible. I was told not to worry, and that we would be accomodated. When we arrived, I was surprised to get the room only 4 steps from the office. But, what really helped us was the offer to keep our car next to the room in the handicapped space for our entire stay. That meant that we wouldn't have to walk down to the valet area. We were both so impressed with the service.

The ocean view is amazing!! you are essentially on the beach. The price is decent for what you get. Having basically 24/7 access to the beach was the main reason for staying here. However having to pay an extra fee for a microwave is ridiculous. Many other hotels provide you with one with no additional cost. It also makes no sense how the hotel doesn’t provide you with a washer and dryer. If you are planning to go to the beach just get your swimsuit wet and nothing more because you will be sitting with a lot of dirty laundry until you check out. Another con is that there is only valet parking for the sum price of $45 a night. If you have money to spare go for it, but if you don’t, there’s a hotel right next door that provides free parking. Staff was friendly just a bit lost. Overall i would come again to see the view but not for staying long.

Air conditioner in my room was screaming loud. They sent someone down to fix it who did get it half as loud but it was still really loud. Came back from my job to find my room door open. Cleaners didn't close the door properly but it didn't close right so I don't blame them. Luckily nothing was missing. hand rail going up to the room were rusted through. 45 dollar a day valet only parking bothered me as well. Never a good surprise. View was incredible from my room. Property doesn't appear to be being maintained

The Bahia suites needs another upgrade with floors, vanity, and kitchen. Two front stove top eyes didn’t work. We were able to use the back two stove top but still cumbersome for cooking.
